Philip is an accomplished sales executive with over 20 years within the IT industry, working with C-Level executives within global 2000 organizations. Since his arrival at Protocol Networks, Phil has worked to introduce enhanced solution-selling strategies and training for the sales team as well as developing a comprehensive marketing approach to expand Protocol Networks reach within the New England market.
Prior to joining Protocol in 2014, Phil was the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Akibia, and responsible for driving revenue growth while overseeing Akibia’s sales team, which included staff across the US and Europe. He worked to develop a sales team that provided a solution-selling approach to deliver customized solutions that meet the emerging and complex data center, network, compliance and security needs of global organizations. In partnership with internal support groups, Phil developed a successful Global Sales and Marketing organization that included Sales Support and Lead Generation groups each functioning as a collaborative team with their peer corporate departments partnering with delivery teams to assess the needs of the clients and develop the right solutions which improved chances of not only winning the business, yet exceeding customer expectations.
